Jet Moto
The gameplay of the Jet Moto series differs from conventional racing games, as players instead control hoverbikes that hover close to the ground and can be driven over both land and water. Most of the tracks in the games are designed to take advantage of this ability. The game offers a variation of the traditional road course, but also introduces a new type of course called the suicide course. These courses are not endless loops, but have checkpoints at either end of the course and a starting grid in the middle. The characters race to one end and then turn around to head for the other checkpoint. This creates a new game dynamic, as the player often has to drive around oncoming traffic. The characters are split into teams and the bikes are adorned with logos of products such as Mountain Dew and Butterfinger, similar to sponsored races in real life.
