It Came from the Desert

It Came From the Desert is an action-adventure game inspired by the many iconic B-horror movies of the 50s and 60s, especially the 1954 film Them. The player takes on the role of Dr. Greg Bradley, a geologist and the city's newest resident. To satisfy his scientific mind, Bradley sets out to investigate the crash site of a mysterious meteor, but what he finds is not at all what he was looking for. The game takes place all over Lizard Breath and there are different types of action and interaction. The adventure part of the game is very linear and takes the player through a fairly fixed sequence of action sections. These include first-person shots at bugs, bird's-eye shots and a chase scene.
