Ironclads: High Seas
For over a year, the armed forces of the United States of America (Northern States) and the Confederate States of America (Southern States) fought a bitter war. In 1862, the governments of Great Britain, France and Spain recognized the Southern States in order to secure raw materials. The economy of the southern states becomes dependent on trade with Europe. The Northern government imposes a complete blockade on shipping with the Southern states. The Confederate government buys warships from the European powers to protect its trade. This paves the way for a naval war for control of the Confederate trade routes. Choose a side, build a fleet and destroy the enemy.
