Infinite Space
Infinite Space, a role-playing game exclusively for the Nintendo DS portable handheld system, is set in space and gives players the ability to control, build, equip and customize more than 150 spaceships. Infinite Space pushes the DS hardware to the limit, featuring over 200 characters and the ability to control multiple spaceships simultaneously. Infinite Space, which will be released in 2009 and is currently being produced by Atsushi Inaba and directed by Hifumi Kouno (of developer Nude Maker), is one of the most complex RPG titles developed for the DS to date, demonstrating PlatinumGames' commitment to working with the most creative minds in the gaming industry.
Story
"Growing up as a second-class citizen on a backwoods planet, Yuri dreamed of traveling the stars. After many years, he has saved enough money to buy transportation off the planet, but space travel is forbidden for second-class citizens, and he is hunted by the security forces of the planet's corrupt owner. To survive the dangers of space, Yuri must become a captain, buy and customize spaceships, and fight hostile enemies on the ground and in space."
