Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures is a platform video game released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a video game adaptation of the Indiana Jones films Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The game was developed by Factor 5 and published by JVC Musical Industries, Inc. The story is told through cutscenes and text and is largely faithful to the films. It was released at the same time as Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, which was also published by JVC and LucasArts and featured the same platforming style as the Super Star Wars trilogy. A Sega Mega Drive/Genesis port of the game was apparently completed and released between the summer and fall of 1995. It was reviewed in GamePro (No. 73, August 1995, rating 3.5 out of 5.0) and in the German GAMERS (November 1995 issue, rating 2 (B grade)). However, like many other third-party titles towards the end of the Genesis' lifespan, the game was shelved and never released. The game was re-released on November 16, 2009 for the Wii's Virtual Console and on April 23, 2010 in the PAL region for 800 Nintendo Points.
