In Cold Blood
In Cold Blood, players must use more brains than brawn to solve a case of international intrigue, solve puzzles, gather clues, and unravel a tangled web of espionage, double-crossing, and a sinister plot that could threaten the free world. The story unfolds in an unusual way: At the beginning of the game, your character, Agent John Cord, has been captured by the enemy and is in the midst of a grueling interrogation. The game's scenes come from his memories as he goes through this ordeal, and players take over his previous adventures that have led him to this point. It's a James Bond-style spy thriller, and the more Cord remembers, the more sense the story makes overall. In In Cold Blood, players must search for hidden items, talk to a variety of characters and try to solve the puzzles that come their way at every turn. But tricky puzzles aren't the only thing blocking their way - they also have to take control of Agent Cord and engage in hot firefights with enemy agents. Occasionally the player will be able to outsmart the enemies, but often they will have to compete in a duel to the death.
