Headlander

Headlander is a retro-futuristic, side-scrolling action-adventure game set in a world inspired by 70s science fiction. It's a world of automation, a utopia gone wrong, in which all of humanity has transferred its mind into a robotic body and is ruled by a deranged computer. The game is published by Adult Swim and Lee Petty of Stacking has taken the helm here on the good ship Double Fine. You are the last known human in the universe and all that is left of you is a severed head. In search of clues to your broken past, you must travel through a hostile world full of machines using a special helmet that allows you to dock with and take control of any robotic body. As you jump from one body to the next, you'll discover that things aren't quite what they seem, and that the fate of humanity is not yet decided...
