Seven warriors are challenged to set out in search of the three powerful elements sun, moon and stars. Whoever brings the elements to the Potion God will be rewarded with the legendary Almighty Potion and all of its magical powers[3]. From the cutscenes (and endings), it's clear that the wacky, wry (and sometimes quite adult) humor has increased significantly since the original Gunbird. The game bears numerous similarities to the Parodius series, including the final boss in the game, a cartoon elephant who plays the trumpet.
