Guerrilla War

Guerrilla War is an overhead run-and-gun game produced by SNK. Originally released in 1987 as a coin-operated arcade game for arcades, Guerrilla War followed the adventures of two nameless rebel commandos (Che Guevara and Fidel Castro in the Japanese version) who raid an unnamed Caribbean island to free it from the rule of a nameless tyrannical dictator. Along the way, players defeat hordes of nameless enemy soldiers while trying to free hostages (with high point deductions for hostages killed in the crossfire), collect weapons from troops, and operate tanks.
