Guacamelee!

"Guacamelee!" is a Metroid-Vania style action platformer set in a magical Mexican-inspired world. The game is inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore and features many interesting and unique characters. Guacamelee! builds on the classic Metroid-Vania style open-world games by adding a strong melee component, a new dimension switching mechanic, and a cooperative multiplayer mode on the same screen for the entire story. The game also blurs the lines between combat and platforming, making many of the moves useful and necessary for both. Travel as a luchador through a mystical and mysterious Mexican world and fight evil with the power of your two fists. Discover hidden wrestling techniques like the Rooster Uppercut and the Dimension Swap to unlock new areas and secrets." Guacamelee! was later released on PC as "Guacamelee! Gold Edition" with the included DLC, and has an updated version called "Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition" with an expanded story, 2 new areas and a new boss.
