Ground Control II: Operation Exodus
Like the original, Ground Control II is not a standard base-building RTS game. There is no technical upgrade tree and no mining of gold, crystals or other random minerals that can serve as a source of money. New units are acquired by spending procurement points collected during battle. If the player has a large army, the points come in very slowly. If the army is small, the points come in faster. Further points can be earned by destroying enemy units or by conquering special locations, the so-called victory locations. Additional units are summoned by dropships that land in certain landing zones. The player must hold at least one of these landing zones in order to receive these reinforcements. Acquisition points can also be spent on upgrades to the dropship, e.g. more cargo space, speed, fuel capacity, armor and weapons.
