Grand Theft Auto Advance
Grand Theft Auto Advance is a handheld console game developed by Digital Eclipse, published by Rockstar Games and released for the Game Boy Advance on October 26, 2004. It is the only Grand Theft Auto game not developed by a Rockstar studio (formerly DMA Design). The game is played from a top-down perspective; this viewpoint was already present in the first two games of the series, Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2, but also included vehicle-based side missions (such as "Vigilante" and "Paramedic"), the heads-up display and much of the weaponry first introduced in its three-dimensional counterparts. Unlike the previous top-down Grand Theft Auto games, the vehicles can now turn around. It is the first game in the Grand Theft Auto series to receive a 16+ age rating from PEGI and an M rating (recommended for mature audiences, although any age is allowed) from the Australian Classification Board. The game was released on the same day as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in North America.
