Grand Prix II
Geoff Crammond's second racing simulation recreates all the tracks and drivers of the 1994 Formula 1 World Championship. The game is viewed from the cockpit - exterior views are mainly for use in replays or demonstrations. Texture mapping and full rear view mirror detail are available for almost every visible feature. The game features 5 difficulty levels, 7 driving aids such as automatic braking and a dotted racing line that you can follow on lower difficulty levels, and variable race and practice lengths. You'll need to tweak your car's settings to get the best performance possible, ranging from standard features like brake balance and gear ratio to more technical ones like suspension settings and ride height. In multiplayer games, you either take turns playing on a single computer or in a network.
