Game Builder Garage software turns playtime into learning time. With lessons created by Nintendo, kids can learn to create their own games. From a simple game of tag to an obstacle course, each lesson is divided into multiple, manageable sections so kids can go at their own pace and have fun along the way. Learn the basics of visual game programming In the interactive lessons, kids learn the basics of visual game programming. Nodon, colorful creatures with distinct personalities, keep kids engaged with tips and motivational messages. With the simple press of a button, you can switch back and forth between the programming screen and the game screen and watch how the programming changes the game. Track progress and build confidence After kids complete each lesson and build a game, they test their knowledge by completing checkpoints - small puzzles or tasks they must solve using programming. Once you've mastered these skills, you can let your imagination (and programming skills) run wild in Free Programming mode. The nodons you meet all have their own personalities that complement their functions. It's fun to link them together to see how they interact and bring your game to life. The in-game Nodopedia lets you quickly look up what each Nodon does as you create them. There's also a guide that summarizes important abilities!
