Gallop Racer 2006

Gallop Racer 2006 is the multi-year update to the Gallop Racer series, featuring the standard game modes: Exhibition and Career, as well as new modes such as Memorial Quest, where players can compete in over 100 classic horse races from years gone by, and Field of Legend, where players can test their created horses against real horses from years of horse racing past. The whole thing takes place in a theme park style arena, the Gallop Racing Square. Players can not only create their own horses, but also compete against classic and legendary horses from earlier years of horse racing history. The gameplay is practically the same as in the previous versions: You press buttons at a specific time to spur the horse on during the race, monitoring various indicators such as the horse's condition, its position in the race and its mental state. Players can also place bets, taking into account the weather conditions, the horse's condition and the horse's statistics.
