Frog Bog

Frog Bog (released as Frogs and Flies on the Atari 2600) was published in 1982 by Mattel Electronics and developed by APH Technological Consulting. You are one of two frogs sitting on two lily pads in the middle of a pond. You have to jump from one lily pad to the other and try to catch the insects flying across the pond with your tongue. You have to be careful not to fall into the water, because the way back to your lily pad will cost you valuable time. The frog that has caught the most insects after a time limit of three minutes wins the game. A nice idea is the change of time of day from morning to midday and afternoon to night, which makes it more difficult to see the insects as they arrive.
