Fishing Derby
In Fishing Derby, two fishermen sit on opposite docks above a lake full of fish (and a shark passing by). Using the joystick, the player can move their fishing line left and right and up and down in the water. When a fish is hooked, the line slowly rises to the surface. If you press the fire button on the joystick, the fish will be reeled in more quickly. However, if both fishermen have a fish on the hook, only one person can reel in their fish (the one who hooked their fish first). The shark prowling around in the water will try to eat hooked fish before they surface. The goal for both fishermen is to reach 99 pounds of fish first. There are six rows of fish; the top two rows have 2-pound fish, the middle two rows have 4-pound fish, and the bottom two rows have 6-pound fish. The more valuable fish sit at the bottom, but it is more difficult to get them into play as the risk of them being eaten by the shark is higher. The game is available in two versions: single player and multiplayer. In both games, the aim is to be the first to reach 99 pounds of fish.
