Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy V is a fantasy role-playing game developed and published by Square in 1992 as part of the Final Fantasy series. The game was first released only in Japan on Nintendo's Super Famicom (internationally known as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System). It was ported to Sony's PlayStation and Nintendo's Game Boy Advance, with minor differences. A video animation produced in 1994 called FINAL FANTASY: Legend of the Crystals serves as a continuation of the events depicted in the game. It was released in Japan on April 6, 2011 for the PlayStation Network. An improved port of the game with new high-resolution graphics and a touch-based interface was released for iPhone and iPad on March 28, 2013, and for Android on September 25, 2013. FINAL FANTASY V was praised for the freedom players have in customizing their characters, which is achieved through the greatly expanded job system. Although it was only released in Japan, the Super Famicom version sold more than two million copies. The PlayStation version has earned the status of "greatest hit", with over 350,000 copies sold.
Story
Embark on an epic adventure in which four heroes are forced together by fate: Bartz and his Chocobo companion, Princess Lenna of Castle Tycoon, the mysterious Galuf and the pirate captain Faris. The crystals that bring peace and prosperity to the world - Earth, Water, Fire and Wind - have lost their power and are on the verge of destruction. These crystals served as a seal for Exdeath, an evil sorcerer. Bartz and his group must prevent the crystals from being exploited by Exdeath's influence and prevent his reappearance.
