FAR: Lone Sails
FAR: Lone Sails is a vehicle adventure game. The player must maintain and upgrade his/her unique ship to traverse a parched sea where the remains of a decaying civilization are scattered across the ocean floor. Keep your unique ship going, overcome numerous obstacles and withstand dangerous weather conditions.
Story
Under a cloudy sky, the player travels across a seemingly endless, parched sea littered with the remains of a once vibrant seafaring civilization. The game world is largely devoid of life, but full of places to explore and history to discover. What was once the bottom of an ocean has turned into a graveyard for submarines and supertankers. Once bustling island settlements have deteriorated into hilltop ruins. What secrets do they hold? And more importantly, is there anything left to salvage?! While the grand destination of the journey has yet to be uncovered by the player, urgent short-term needs require immediate action. The train-like vehicle must be refueled, maintained and upgraded to meet the challenges ahead. After stumbling upon the mysterious machine, the character, dressed in a red outfit, crosses the parched seabed. During this journey you'll encounter various puzzles that will block your progress on the seabed. Some of these puzzles also add a new module to the machine. These include: a sail, a fire extinguisher, a welder and an automatic waste catcher.
