Fantasy Zone II
Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Grandpa-Opa is the sequel to Fantasy Zone, in which you'll control Grandpa-Opa, a pretty colorful ship with wings on its side. You'll have to destroy the large creatures in each world before moving on to the next one. Your task is made more difficult by other small creatures that randomly pass by. When you destroy a large creature, it drops a dollar bill that you can pick up and use in the store to buy items and powerful weapons such as laser beams, X-Way shots and large wings. Another way to get money is to shoot certain types of enemies in succession. Most of the time, some large creatures reveal a warp gate and not a dollar bill. You can go through the warp gate to get to another part of the land and destroy more large creatures. Only in one of them is there a warp gate in the form of a "stop" sign - that's your ticket to the round boss, but you have to defeat all the big creatures to pass it. As in the original, you can run on the ground to avoid approaching enemies, and spend money in the store to get new weapons (which last for a limited time, though).
