Eragon

Eragon

Eragon is a third-person video game developed by Stormfront Studios for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows. There are also unique versions of Eragon for the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, and handheld mobile systems, developed primarily by Amaze Entertainment.[1] The game is based on the film Eragon, which in turn is loosely based on the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. The games were released on November 14, 2006 in the United States, November 24, 2006 in Europe[2] and November 23, 2006 in Australia[3] to coincide with the film's theatrical release. In the game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist from the book and movie, Eragon, and occasionally controls his dragon Saphira. The game was generally poorly received by critics, usually receiving press averages around 4-6 out of 10 (or thereabouts).[4][5] In North America, over 400,000 copies were sold in total.[6]
