Empires in Ruins is the story-driven bastard child of 4X and Tower Defense. The Western Marches are on fire. Will the grumpy and drunken Sergeant Hans Heimer be the one to quell them? Lead 4X-style world map strategy, reclaim your provinces, rebuild settlements and authority through your rogue officers. Fight in tower defense and RTS-style bloody battles with up to 17 different towers and 5 resource buildings against up to 23 unique enemy units, each with one or more special abilities. The world of Empires in Ruins is gritty, foul-mouthed and more like the real world than you'd hope.
