Edge of Space

You take on the role of an Ark Corporation employee sent to the far corners of the universe to search for habitable planets to terraform. However, after the long journey through space, you awaken from cryogenic sleep to find that your ship is off course and stuck near a strange new world. You have no choice but to descend to the surface and figure out how to survive long enough to complete your mission, so you climb into the escape pod. Along the way, you'll collect resources to create armor, weapons, facilities and vehicles that will let you explore the world and defeat its aggressive inhabitants. Your base of operations will evolve from a few simple facilities exposed to the elements to a hardened fortress full of advanced technologies that will let you improve your equipment in amazing ways and change the environment. Be careful, though, because almost everything down there wants to kill you, including ferocious laser space sharks, polar bears with artillery, insanely fast jetpack penguins and even crazier horrors.
