Earthlock: Festival of Magic
An original turn-based role-playing game set in a world full of machines and magic, a world that hasn't turned for thousands of years.
Story
A long time ago, the magical world of Umbra was struck by a catastrophic event. Suddenly and mysteriously, the planet stopped spinning. Volcanoes awoke and oceans moved. Kingdoms and civilizations were buried or drowned. Soon the scourging sun seized one side of the world, while the dark winter took possession of the other. Today, the glory and power of the old world is buried and the only habitable region is in between. Evidence of Umbra's past lies scattered about in the form of ruins, treasures and artifacts. In the new world, which has been rebuilt but is nowhere near as advanced as the old, archaeologists and scavengers supply the rich and powerful with ancient technologies and magical artifacts salvaged from the ice, sea and sand. It's a world divided between those who deal in magic and those who tinker with technology. You begin as Amon, a swashbuckling scavenger from a small desert town who becomes embroiled in a treacherous conflict between the mighty Suvian Empire and those who wish to bring Suvia down. Your quest for peace takes you to the far corners of the world to uncover the secrets of Umbra's mysterious, catastrophic past. On your way you will explore oceans, vast deserts and snow-covered lands, rebuild your island base, collect seeds to sow and harvest ammunition, gain more allies, crack puzzles and defeat nasty monsters.
