Dune
Dune is a 1992 video game based on the science fiction novel of the same name by Frank Herbert. It was developed by Cryo Interactive and is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune combines adventure with economic and military strategy and is considered by many to be the most addictive Dune computer game. The player takes on the role of Paul Atreides, whose objective is to drive the Harkonnen from the planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military and later ecology with the help of the native Fremen tribes. During the game, the player equips his troops with weapons ranging from "crysknives" to nuclear weapons, uses Paul's hidden psychic powers and gets to know characters from the book such as Chani and Liet-Kynes.
