Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter

Story

The game begins with a surreal sequence in which a stranger asks the player: "What do you remember about that day?" The player is given several dialog options from which a coherent description of "that day" emerges, although at this point he/she is not yet aware of the significance of the event (or even its occurrence). Before the game properly begins, the player is asked to draw a picture depicting this mysterious scene, introducing him/her to the core "drawing" function of the game. This is followed by an animation sequence in which Heather, one of the characters from the previous game, is recovering from a nightmare. You can see that she has a red jewel pendant. In the same sequence, Heather is abducted by a darkness emanating from a sceptre she discovered in a stranded treasure chest in the middle of the night. When the other characters realize the next morning that she has disappeared, the search for her is dramatically interrupted by Wilfre, who makes most of Raposa's villagers disappear, reveals himself to be Heather's kidnapper and ends up draining the village of paint. The remaining characters escape on the back of a giant turtle, delivered by the Creator on request. The game follows the Raposa's struggle to reunite with their companions and, with the help of the Hero of Creation, defeat Wilfre before he can realize his as yet unknown goals, as their numbers have dwindled greatly and their home has been destroyed. The remaining members of the village travel to Watersong, Lava Team, the Galactic Jungle and Wilfre's Wasteland, a combination of all three villages. In Watersong, Mari and Jowee meet Sock, who plays an important role later in the story.
