The designers of the Bard's Tale series, Wasteland and Battle Chess pooled their talents to create the ultimate fantasy role-playing game. They knew it had to be a first-class story with sophisticated graphics. The result was Dragon Wars. You and your party are on a quest to find the legendary paradise of Dilmun - a place where the streets are paved with gold and no one wants for anything. However, King Drake of Phoebus has declared all magic illegal - mages have been killed or fled into exile. In retaliation, hostile islands have threatened to unleash their Guardian Dragons, the most destructive force in the world. When you dock at the port of Dilmun, you are arrested on suspicion of sorcery. Locked up and stripped to your wits, you are sentenced to a life in a cesspit called Purgatory. Magic is your only salvation - a worldly possession in a possessed world.
