Dragon Warrior Monsters
Dragon Quest Monsters is a turn-based role-playing game in which you recruit monsters to fight for you in random encounters. Two recruited monsters can be merged into a better one, and additional monsters can be stored on a farm when they are not in your party. It was released in Japan for the Game Boy Color before the system hit the market.
Story
In the days before Dragon Quest VI, when Terry and Milly were still children, a strange monster appeared one night and kidnapped Milly. Shortly after, another monster that looked like the kidnapper appeared and told Terry that his sister was kidnapped by the evil Warubou. He tells Terry that his name is Watabou and he must accompany him to the kingdom of GreatTree.
