Dr. Mario

Dr. Mario is a video game in which Mario plays the role of a doctor and drops two-colored medical capsules into a medicine bottle that represents the playing field. This field is populated by viruses in three colors: red, yellow and blue. In a manner reminiscent of Tetris, the player manipulates each capsule as it falls. He moves it to the left or right and rotates it so that it is placed next to the viruses and already existing capsules. When four or more capsule halves or viruses of the same color are arranged vertically or horizontally, they are removed from the game. The main goal is to finish the levels by removing all the viruses from the board. The game is over when the capsules fill the playing field so that the narrow neck of the bottle is blocked.
