Double Dribble
Double Dribble was the second basketball arcade game developed and released by Konami in 1986, after Super Basketball. The game owes much of its popularity to the animation sequences showing basketball players performing slam dunks, as well as the tune "The Star-Spangled Banner" in lock mode, which was the first arcade game to feature the national anthem. This was still unusual in video games at the time of Double Dribble's release. Although the game was successful in the arcades, it became popular and was remembered when it was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987.
