Disintegration
In Disintegration you'll play an integrated character named Romer. He is one of many who have rebelled and are now ostracized by the Rayonne. It's up to you to lead a small group of these outlaws, who have chosen to fight back and survive, to a better future in which we protect those we care about and hope to one day become human again.
Story
In Earth's near future, climate extremes, overpopulation, food shortages and a global pandemic caused nations to collapse and humanity to teeter on the brink of extinction. Scientists chose a procedure in which the human brain was removed and surgically implanted into a robotic armature. It was meant to be a temporary solution to an inevitable crisis. For decades, it was a good thing that allowed people to survive. But some of the integrated saw this new form as the future of humanity. Not wanting to reverse the process, the posthumanist integrated stratified themselves and called themselves the Rayonne. Soon a global war broke out, and the Rayonne forces are now trying to hunt down all remaining humans, force their integration, and destroy those who do not share their views.
