Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei

Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei is the first game in the Megami Tensei series of role-playing video games. It is based on the novel Digital Devil Story by Aya Nishitani. Although Atlus published most of the series, the first two games were developed by Atlus but published by Namco (then called Namcot) after the company bought the video game rights to the Japanese horror novel series by Aya Nishitani, first called Digital Devil Story. The game is a role-playing game that involves dungeon crawling and demons, which have become the series' trademark.
