Devilish

A prince and princess were in love with each other until a jealous demon turned the happy couple into a series of stone paddles resembling those of a pinball machine. Suddenly, a ball was created that the prince and princess could use to defeat the demons that now rule the kingdom. Players must use two paddles; the top one is used to defeat the demons, while the bottom one helps keep the player from falling to the bottom of the playing field. By defeating the baddies and smashing the fragile blocks, the player progresses to the final boss of each level. The vertically scrolling screen is reminiscent of a tougher version of Arkanoid, forcing the ball to constantly move forward to reach the boss. Only the Sega Mega Drive version has a two-player option. In the Game Gear version, players can choose between three difficulty levels and also select an option for a timed race.
