Story

Scrap, scrap and more scrap. Life on the garbage planet Deponia is anything but a bed of roses. No wonder Rufus has had enough of it and concocts one crazy plan after another to escape this desolate place. When Rufus meets Goal during one of his attempts to leave Deponia behind, he not only falls madly in love with the beautiful girl from Elysium, but also accidentally knocks her off her comfortable star cruiser and onto the desolate garbage planet. This accident sparks a brilliant new plan: he must get Goal back to the floating city of Elysium - and while he's at it, he might as well pose as her philandering fiancé, Cletus, who for some reason is the spitting image of Rufus. And so begins an exciting adventure....
