Def Jam Vendetta

The unlikely combination of Def Jam artists and underground wrestling is the theme of this release from Electronic Arts, which features the 3D likenesses of musicians such as Ludacris, Redman, DMX, Scarface, Ghostface Killa, Method Man and others as playable characters. Def Jam Vendetta was developed by AKI Corporation, which already has experience in the genre with the titles WWF No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge, and features an estimated 1,500 animations for each of the 45 characters included. A total of ten different venues are available, and one of the modes features suplexes and body slams as well as a storyline with soap opera-like drama. Up to four players can compete in one-on-one, tag team, handicap, or battle royale matches.
