Dead Island: Epidemic

On August 7, 2013, Deep Silver announced a new game titled Dead Island: Epidemic. In Epidemic, a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game, three teams of players fight each other for survival and face the hordes of undead that populate the series. Epidemic was released via Steam Early Access on May 19, 2014. This allowed players to actively participate in the final development phase of the game and report bugs and issues in the game so that the release could be polished. Epidemic was a free-to-play title. In 2015, the game was discontinued during the open beta phase.
