The inhabitants of the pretty but insignificant planet Blot have decided to look for a trendier planet to escape the unhip name of Blotians. Until they find such a planet, they call themselves the Fuzzy Wuzzies. Their colony ship collides with an asteroid and crashes in the Pacific Ocean near an unknown island, which they colonize and name "The Hippest Place in The Known Universe". Unfortunately, the island is also home to some pretty nasty demons who can't stand the commotion caused by the happy fuzzies or their silly name for the island. The demons kidnap the Fuzzy Wuzzies by throwing a huge party, then catching them in a net and dragging them off to the torture chambers. The only Fuzzy not caught is Clyde Radcliff, who was already sick in the bushes. He wakes up in the morning with a bad headache and fiery bad breath and sets out to destroy the demons and save his friends. The game consists of 3 levels, each made up of 3 sections. The first two levels are side-scrolling platformers in which Clyde must destroy the enemies by shooting at them, presumably using his bad breath. At the end of each level, Clyde meets a witch who, in exchange for "magic potion creatures" that he finds in the levels, provides him with additional shot patterns or improves the existing ones.
