Cool Spot
Cool Spot is a mascot for 7 Up, which was introduced in 1987. At that time, the red spot in the 7 Up logo was humanized: he got arms, legs, a mouth and sunglasses. The American studio of the British video game developer Virgin Interactive produced a platform game starring the 7 Up Spot: Cool Spot.
Story
In each level, the player must rescue other cool spots that look exactly the same from cages at the end of the level, which is not necessarily the spot on the far right of the level map. To do this, the player must collect a certain number of "spots," which change (and usually increase) as the game progresses. The "spots" were distributed in large quantities in the level and were the substitute for items like the coins in Super Mario Bros.
