Conker's Bad Fur Day
A humorous action platformer that forgoes the tedious item collecting found in most games of the genre. Instead, BFD relies on a combination of standard jumping, running and exploration mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For example, at the beginning of the game, if Conker presses the B button on the first pad he encounters, he drinks an Alka-Seltzer to get rid of his hangover and can then continue walking. Later, these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives, to turn Conker into an anvil and drop him down, to shoot with automatic ambidextrous weapons, to activate a slow-motion effect inspired by The Matrix and fly through the air to shoot enemies and much more.
