Story

What a mess! Rufus' home Deponia is a huge junkyard that encompasses the whole planet - and has been cleared for demolition by the Elysian Council of Elders. Only the beautiful Goal could stop it. But Goal is stuck with Rufus on the floating black market, Deponia's dirtiest dump. And her brain implant, which stores the secret codes for returning to Elysium, is badly damaged. Fortunately, you can get almost anything on the floating black market - including brain surgery. But when Goal's consciousness is broken into three pieces during the operation, chaos is complete: Rufus must bring all three personality fragments back to sanity - all before Goal's fiancé Cletus, the Organon, disorganized crime or the rebel forces get their fingers on the value awareness data. Between duck beaks, burning saw blades, anti-gravity socks and torpedo dolphins, the most bizarre romance in the history of video games unfolds. For Rufus must not only save the world, foil the Organon's plans, and cheat his way to the top of two opposing underground organizations - he must also bare the heart of a woman whose consciousness is stored on three sets of data. In a nutshell: The fate of the entire world depends on Rufus' charm and empathy. Well... it could have been much worse.
