Chameleon Run

Chameleon Run is a single player game available mainly for mobile devices. The game is a high-speed car race with a satisfying double-jump mechanic played in landscape mode with both hands. The game has a minimalistic but colorful aesthetic with upbeat music and nice sound effects. There are no virtual controls on the screen. Instead, the player taps on the two sides of the display to control the avatar. The object of the game is to pick up items along the way to cross the finish line. With the collected items, more tracks can be unlocked. To reach the finish line, the avatar must jump over obstacles, always making sure that the color of the avatar matches the color of the running surface. The latter is what makes this runner so unique. Many of the tracks offer two or more paths to the finish, which increases the longevity of the game. The first start is right on the first track, where you'll learn how to change colors while jumping in the air to prevent your avatar from exploding. After completing the tutorial, you'll get to the menu where the first track will be unlocked. The game consists of a series of grouped tracks that you must unlock by collecting enough chameleons that you find along the tracks. The number of chameleons you need to advance is shown in the menu on the screen. Currently, the game is available for iOS, Android, and Windows phones, as well as tvOS (Apple TV).
