Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

A After Alucard is awakened from his eternal slumber by the reappearance of Castlevania, he must once again face the evil minions of darkness. Use your vampiric powers together with weapons, potions and other magical relics to change the course of events. A mix of platform and role-playing action with many hidden areas and secrets. Can you discover them all?

Story

The game's story takes place in 1797, 5 years after the events of Rondo of Blood, and begins with Judge Belmont defeating Count Dracula, mirroring the end of the first game. However, even though Dracula has been defeated, Richter disappears without a trace. Five years later, Castlevania rises again, and although there are no Belmonts to storm the castle, Alucard, Dracula's son, wakes up from his self-induced slumber and decides to investigate what happened during his slumber. Meanwhile, Maria Renard, Richter's sister-in-law, enters Castlevania herself to search for the missing Richter. She helps Alucard several times during the game.
