Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is an action-adventure game and a sequel to the 2010 game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and the 35th installment of the Castlevania series. The game was developed by MercurySteam and published by Konami. It is MercurySteam's latest contribution to the series. The story is set in both a medieval and a modern world. As in the previous game, the player controls Gabriel Belmont, now known as Dracula, and fights his way through an open world. In the game's opening sequence, the player can control Dracula while he still has all of his powers and weapons. Dracula's main weapon is his blood whip, a weapon comparable to the battle cross from the original Lords of Shadow. The magic system from the previous game is replaced with the Sword of the Void and the Chaos Claws. With the Sword of the Void, Dracula can replenish his health, while with the Chaos Claws he can break through enemy defenses and perform powerful attacks. The story mode in Lords of Shadow 2 is said to be significantly longer than that of its predecessor. The game is mainly an open world, where the player can decide which path to take. There is also a moving camera in this game, which was not present in the first Lords of Shadow game.
