Carcassonne
Carcassonne begins with a single tile face up, and the other 71 tiles are shuffled and placed face down so that players can draw from them. On each turn, a player draws a new tile and places it next to the tiles that are already face up. The new tile must be placed so that it extends the features of the adjacent tiles: roads must connect to roads, fields to fields, and cities to cities. Part of the game board after several rounds. After placing each new tile, the player who placed the tile may place a figure on an element of the newly placed tile. The player who placed the tile may not use a piece to claim elements of the tile that extend or connect elements already claimed by another player. However, it is possible for terrain features claimed by opposing players to be "shared" by subsequently placing tiles that connect them. For example, two field tiles, each with a follower on them, can be connected to a single field by another terrain feature. The game ends when the last tile has been placed. At this point, all features (including fields) score points for the players with the most followers on them. The player with the most points wins the game.
