Bushido Blade

Bushido Blade

"Bushido" is the soul of Japan - an ancient code of honor that samurai warriors have followed for centuries. Plunge into real battles in huge 3D environments that you can run, slash and tear through. Sword fights become incredibly real when a single blow can make the difference between death and victory.

Story

Despite the characters, themes and weapons resembling samurai cinema in feudal Japan, Bushido Blade is set in modern times (this becomes clear, for example, when the player reaches a helipad stage in a large city). This region is home to a fictional 500-year-old dojo called Meikyokan, where the disciplines of the master Narukagami Shinto are taught. The dojo is also home to a society of assassins called Kage ("shadows"). It was once led by the honorable swordsman Utsusemi, but in a fierce battle he lost his position to Hanzaki, another experienced member of the dojo. Hanzaki gained respect as a Kage leader until he discovered a cursed sword called Yugiri. He began to change and disregarded the honor of the group and the traditions of the students. One day, a Kage member escapes from the dojo and steals its secrets. Several other members of the society are sent out on pain of death to eliminate the defector, only to find him (or her) in the ruins of the surrounding Yin and Yang Castle Labyrinth. In single-player mode, players take on the role of the escaped assassin (regardless of which character they choose) and fight their way out by killing their comrades one by one. The elements of the game story differ depending on the character chosen.
