Blade Eagle 3-D

Blade Eagle 3-D is a vertical shoot-em-up that has no story. You simply have to make your way across three planets (you have to travel through space first) and shoot down as many enemies as possible. There are several bosses to defeat along the way. The last ones drop a power-up that you can use to upgrade your ship. The power-ups include double shots and laser beams, for example. Another power-up gives you the opportunity to have an additional ship at your side, which joins the battle and later serves as a reinforcement. Blade Eagle is designed to be played in conjunction with Sega 3D glasses. If you play without the 3D glasses, it looks like there are two of your ships, not just one. When four enemies come at you, they look like eight.
