Story

A few months after the events of the first game, Bayonetta and Jeanne fight against a group of angels that attacked a city during a parade. During an attack, Jeanne protects Bayonetta from a demon summoning gone wrong, in which her soul is claimed by the depths of hell. On a tip from her informant Enzo, Bayonetta heads to the sacred mountain Fimbulvinter. There is supposed to be an entrance to the Inferno, the gates of hell, and Bayonetta wants to use it to save her friend.
