Battle of the Bands

Battle of the Bands is the ultimate music rhythm game exclusively for Wii. The story takes place in a fictional, crazy world where bands with weaponized instruments battle for musical supremacy. Featuring 30 licensed tracks from the hottest bands, each playable in 5 different musical styles (Rock, Country, Marching Band, Hip Hop and Ranchero), and 70 special weapons and attacks. In each game, a song is played for about 10 to 15 seconds in one genre and then in another, so it goes back and forth. Points are earned by beatmatching, and consecutive matches automatically deploy whimsical weapons like smoke bomb, landmine, and flip out. The more points you earn, the more music is played in the player's genre. The game can be played in Versus mode, perfect for social rounds and parties, or in Adventure mode, where the player competes against bands of other genres, one at a time. Two bands compete. One band leaves the game.
