Battle Garegga

Battle Garegga

Battle Garegga is a vertically scrolling shoot'em up arcade game. The plot is set in a kind of diesel-punk version of the 1940s. The main heroes are brothers Brian and Jason - the sons of a genius designer who want to destroy the evil Federation. Players control planes (4 planes to choose from), fly forward, collect items and shoot enemies. Unlike most other scrolling shooter games where the bullets are brightly colored to stand out from the background, the bullets are realistically colored, making it difficult for players to see them. As a bonus, you can unlock four of the characters from Mahou Daisakusen by entering a code.

Story

Mathew Wayne, who lived in a small country town, was a mechanical genius whose skills and abilities he passed on to his sons Brian and Jason. After they took over the management of his car factory from him, the brothers' skills became known throughout the country. Eventually, the Federation approached the brothers with an extremely lucrative contract: to manufacture military vehicles for the Federation. The Wayne brothers accepted the contract and developed weapons that were second to none. A short time later, the skies were darkened by the invading Federation air fleet, and cities everywhere were devastated by these armies - including Brian and Jason's hometown. To their horror, the Federation used the weapons and vehicles they themselves had developed to reshape the land to their merciless will. Using aircraft whose designs were never submitted to the Federation, the Wayne brothers prepare to destroy the Federation's mad plan. They are supported by the four heroes from Mahou Daisakusen.
