Story
We are in the near future, and a new kind of septic power has emerged. Although people initially viewed these powers with fear, a large conglomerate known as the Sumeragi group has brought peace and order to the world by taking it upon themselves to monitor the adepts who possess these powers. However, this peace has come at the price of the adepts being oppressed by the Sumeragi. For what Sumeragi calls a shelter for adepts is in reality a concentration camp. Cruel experiments are performed daily on the adepts who are held captive there. For a long time, the Sumeragi group has kept the goals of their experiments secret. But now a group that has learned of the Sumeragi group's intentions has risen up against them. Their name is QUILL. They are an armed resistance force and a subdivision of a foreign human rights organization dedicated to protecting adepts. Gunvolt, the hero of this story, is also a member of QUILL. The story begins with QUILL giving him the order to assassinate Lumen, a virtual pop star.
